A Lasting Tribute for Highland Elementary
We recently had the pleasure of connecting with Monica regarding a creative and meaningful project for the Highland Elementary School library. Monica is currently spearheading the development of a new donor wall intended to honor the families who have contributed to the library’s recent rebuild. It is always a privilege to work on projects that directly support local education and literacy.
Designing a Library-Inspired Donor Wall
The vision for this installation is as charming as it is thoughtful. To celebrate the donors, the wall will feature individual pieces of wood meticulously shaped to look like books. To add visual interest and authenticity, the design incorporates a variety of wood lengths and shades, creating a diverse, library-inspired aesthetic.
Personalized Spines for Every Donor
At the heart of the project is the personalization. Each wooden book will feature a custom engraving on the spine, bearing the family name of a donor. As Monica prepares to pitch this beautiful concept to potential contributors, our team is working closely with her to finalize the technical details, including cost structures and character limitations for the engravings. By clarifying these specifications early on, Monica can ensure the donor wall remains a seamless and well-integrated part of the school’s fundraising efforts.
We are incredibly excited to be part of the beginning stages of this journey. Watching a creative idea transition from a concept into a tangible way to recognize generosity is exactly why we love what we do.
